A beautifully restored reproduction of the original 1918 exhibition poster for Paul Nash's landmark show at the Leicester Galleries, London. Titled 'The Void of War,' this was Nash's first major exhibition after returning from the Western Front as an official war artist, and it established him as one of the most important artists of the First World War.

The poster features a striking woodcut-style image of the shattered landscape of the Ypres Salient — blasted tree stumps, rain-swept skies, and flooded craters — capturing Nash's vision of war as the destruction of nature itself. The bold graphic design and hand-lettered typography are characteristic of early 20th-century exhibition advertising.

The original exhibition took place in May 1918 at the Leicester Galleries, Leicester Square, and featured over 50 watercolours and drawings from Nash's time at the front. It was a critical and popular success that cemented his reputation as a leading modern British artist.
