We designed this late-1970s vintage style architecture exhibition poster as a gently humorous take on the fame and esteem with which Le Corbusier (Charles-Édouard Jeanneret) was (and is) held. A giant of 20th century art, and a fantastic cubist-influenced fine artist as well, he stands as much as a symbol for a certain type of modernism as for his own work. So by bleaching out the documentary photograph in this picture to leave his trademark heavy-framed glasses we're emphasising the man as a brand, as much as a brilliant artist. We hope you'll find this art poster an unusual and amusing take on the usual forms of reverential material one sees so often.
