This poster print for an exhibition of the Hungarian artist László Moholy-Nagy's photographs features one of his stunning images taken from a steep perspective. View From The Pont Transbordeur, created in 1929, looks down from one of the two main towers of the transporter bridge that crossed the Rive Neuve in Marseille onto a sailing ship below, the bridge's steel superstructure dividing the composition up like a geometric abstract or Constructivist painting. Moholy-Nagy is perhaps best known as a central figure of the Bauhaus, where he was a professor from 1923-8.
