Walter Richard Sickert

Walter Richard Sickert (1860-1942) was a British artist who is known for his contributions to both the Impressionist and modern art movements. He was an influential figure in the Camden Town Group along with Harold Gilman, and was a master of creating moody, atmospheric paintings, particularly of theatres and music halls (Sickert had himself been an actor).
