Aubrey Beardsley

Aubrey Beardsley (1872-1898) was a highly influential British illustrator and author during the late 19th century. His striking black and white drawings, often featuring delicate figures and intricate patterns, were often considered highly controversial at the time due to their subject matter. In more contemporary times however his work has been firmly established as being important and iconic.
