Collection: Albert Gleizes

Albert Gleizes (1881-1953) was a French painter, theorist and writer who played a central role in the development of Cubism. He co-authored Du "Cubisme" (1912) with Jean Metzinger, the first major treatise on the movement, and exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants and the Section d'Or. His later work moved towards abstraction and explored connections between art and spirituality.
