By 1920 he was among the most visible designers working in British poster art, and that year produced a group of botanical sheets — \u003cem\u003eFlowers o' the Corn\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003eFlowers of the Riverside\u003c\/em\u003e and this one — each pairing a flat-colour plant study with a line of English verse.
